Associated Property Management (APM) Helps Community Associations to Prepare for Hurricane Season

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Lake Worth, FL - May 18, 2010 - Associated Property Management (APM) has created an Emergency Preparedness Section to their website. With June 1, 2010 being the start of hurricane season APM wants to remind community associations to get ready now, rather than later, when it may be too late. Weather experts predict that this season will contain more and stronger storms then what is considered normal

Florida has a long history of hurricanes, tornadoes and flooding. Though scientists have made great strides in forecasting these events they still fail to predict, when, where and the overall intensity of these natural disasters. Prior to 2004 and 2005 the majority of residents in Florida had not experienced a hurricane. That two year period of time of abnormal storm activity treated most of Florida’s population to strong destructive winds, large amounts of rain and flooding and yes, tornadoes! Tornadoes are considered Nature’s most destructive storms. Florida is in the Top 5 States with highest Tornado activity, with an average of 51 Tornadoes per year.

It is Associated Property Management’s hope that all association board and committee members and other interested parties will take the time to review this section, especially as we draw closer to the hurricane season. There are three separate sections, hurricane, tornadoes and flooding. The website contains information for preparing for, during the storm and post storm survival. Emergency Preparedness Section

Associated Property Management (APM) Creates Continuing Education Section to Their Website

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Lake Worth – April 1, 2010, Associated Property Management (APM) has created a Continuing Education Section to their website. This section has specifically been designed to help Board of Directors and related professionals to keep pace with the ever changing Community Association Management Industry.

Community associations are being transformed due to our volatile economy, rapidly changing technology and with a population that is growing older. In addition, new laws, a mortgage crisis and high unemployment are forcing associations to revaluate how and why things are being done in a certain way. In the future, no matter what level of education, business or practical experience that any Board Member has, there will be new demands and challenges on all Board of Directors. We hope that these categories, pages and links will help present and future Board Members to keep up to date on an ever changing industry.

It is APM’s hope that all Board Members and interested parties will take the time to review this section, especially when a need arises in your association or when someone is contemplating running for the Board of Directors in their community. The Continuing Education Section of the website has been divided into 4 sections and encompasses continuing education, information and handy links in the following areas: Accounting, Administration, General and Meetings.

APM Announces Name Your Fee Property Management Program

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LAKE WORTH, Florida – March 1, 2010 - Associated Property Management (APM) is pleased to announce its new “Name Your Fee Property Management™” Program. This program is designed to help community associations to lower their overhead and operating expenses, while providing good, sound and efficient property management services to their member residents.

As the economy and the mortgage crisis continues, community associations in Palm Beach County are coming under increasing pressure to lower operating expenses in order to balance and offset lower operating incomes. Boards of Directors know their budget constraints better than anyone as they have to deal with these cash flow problems every day. Now there is a solution to the Board of Directors’ budget problems as they will be pleased to know that they can now have “Name Your Fee Property Management™” by Associated Property Management (APM).

The “Name Your Fee Property Management™” Program allows a Board to set their management fee price based on their association’s current budget and future budget constraints. APM will in turn provide that association with an estimate of the type and amount of services that the association’s projected management fee will provide.

It is believed that the “Name Your Fee Property Management™” Program allows an association to pay exactly for what they require in terms of service and no more. This program also provides a Board to tailor their association management needs to a specific price that is flexible based on their income and expenses.
